Kathy Spitz

KSpitz headshotKathy’s global practice spans the full range of organizational work: teamwork, leadership, change, organization design, strategy alignment, training, facilitation and coaching.  She specializes in consulting to organizations working toward increased effectiveness, and has supported executives and all kinds of teams in a range of multinational and domestic organizations.  Kathy designs and delivers in ways that dramatically impact performance and engagement. Her collaborative style helps people in changing environments move forward, make decisions and implement.

In a decade of consulting, Kathy has worked in financial services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, local and federal government, health insurance, technology and higher education.  Previously, Kathy worked for GlaxoSmithKline and GlaxoWellcome in the pharmaceutical industry and Eastman Kodak in the manufacturing world.  Kathy’s direct experience with these large, global companies honed her skills with culture change, downsizing/restructuring and post-merger integration.

Kathy holds an MS in Organization Development from American University/NTL.  She is certified in MBTI, CCL Benchmarks, the Drexler/Sibbet Team Performance Model, and the Connor change management approach.  Kathy is also skilled with large group process methods such as Future Search and Open Space.  Her coaching training is from NTL and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Born in a small town in western New York, Kathy has a love for the Great Lakes and lake living.  She believes that nature brings people together and provides a reason for people to be with each other in meaningful ways.  Nothing makes Kathy happier than living on Lake Ontario, surrounded by her loved ones watching the sunset.
